Privacy Policy

Overview:

PMJImagery serves as a window to display my portfolio of photographs, creative imagery and artwork, which are published for the enjoyment and inspiration of other’s. Images published on this website are exclusively my own work and copyrighted as such. Images may only be used by a third party after authorisation and agreement between myself and that person or organisation. If you have any specific photographic requirements or feel that I may be of assistance to you, please contact me using the contact form provided, or by email to: pmj@pmjimagery.com

 

PMJImagery may contain images obtained from events open to the public and may show individuals attending or competing. PMJImagery does not routinely identify individual competitors even though they may have consented to their details being made public by event organiser’s, such as shown in a published list of participants.

 

Any person shown in any of the images published on this website may request that the image, in which they appear, be removed from the site by using the contact form provided or by email to: pmj@pmjimagery.com.

 

PMJImagery whilst not currently a business venture or run for commercial gain, it is still compliant with the fundamental principles of the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).

Your Rights:

Article 5 of the GDPR outlines the ‘Principles relating to processing of personal data’ as follows:

  1. processed lawfully, fairly and in a transparent manner in relation to the data subject (‘lawfulness, fairness and transparency’);

  2. collected for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes and not further processed in a manner that is incompatible with those purposes; further processing for archiving purposes in the public interest, scientific or historical research purposes or statistical purposes shall, in accordance with Article 89(1), not be considered to be incompatible with the initial purposes (‘purpose limitation’);

  3. adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which they are processed (‘data minimisation’);

  4. accurate and, where necessary, kept up to date; every reasonable step must be taken to ensure that personal data that are inaccurate, having regard to the purposes for which they are processed, are erased or rectified without delay (‘accuracy’);

  5. kept in a form which permits identification of data subjects for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the personal data are processed; personal data may be stored for longer periods insofar as the personal data will be processed solely for archiving purposes in the public interest, scientific or historical research purposes or statistical purposes in accordance with Article 89(1) subject to implementation of the appropriate technical and organisational measures required by this Regulation in order to safeguard the rights and freedoms of the data subject (‘storage limitation’);

  6. processed in a manner that ensures appropriate security of the personal data, including protection against unauthorised or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction or damage, using appropriate technical or organisational measures (‘integrity and confidentiality’).

 

What rights you have over your personal data:

If you have left comments, you can request the erasure of any personal data held about you. This does not include any personal data kept for administrative, legal or security purposes. GDPR provides the following rights for individuals:

  • The right to be informed

  • The right of access

  • The right to rectification

  • The right to erasure

  • The right to restrict processing

  • The right to data portability

  • The right to object

  • Rights in relation to automated decision making and profiling.

 

What Personal Data is collected and why:

Personal data is not routinely collected and stored unless you contact the site using the contact form provided or email. You have control of what information you disclose, however, the site does use analytical software such as, but not solely limited to, ‘Google Analytics’, to monitor web traffic visiting the website. Your personal data may be processed where necessary for the legitimate interests of PMJImagery or a third party, except where such interests are overridden by your interests, rights or freedom.

 

Comments:

When visitors leave comments on PMJImagery the data entered in the comments form may be retained along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

 

Media:

There is no facility for third parties to upload/download images to/from this website. All content is that of PMJImagery. Arrangements can be made to supply copies of images shown, please contact using the contact form or email address provided.

 

Contact Forms: (Current not available)

The only requirements for submission of a contact form are ‘Your Name’ and ‘Your Email Address’ without which the form cannot be submitted. The details provided may be saved in order to correspond with the named individual on the form. Details will be retained on secure computer architecture for a reasonable period of time, not exceeding 2 years.

 

Cookies:

PMJImagery does not use cookies to save your personal data. The website is currently hosted by Wix and further information can be obtained by visiting ‘https://support.wix.com’.

 

Analytics:

PMJImagery uses ‘Google Analytics’, ‘Bing Webmaster Tools’ and ‘Wix Analytics’ to monitor site traffic. This may result in automatic collection of IP Address, browser details, country of origin, pages viewed and device used. These logs are kept for a reasonable period of time and used solely for performance, site administration and security reviews. This data is not used to identify individuals visiting the site.

 

Sharing your data:

PMJImagery does not share personal data with any third party, other than as described in the circumstances above. Your personal data will NOT be passed on to third party organisations for marketing purposes.

 

How is your data retained:

PMJImagery may retain contact details to enable contact between you and PMJImagery for a reasonable time period, but not exceeding 3 years. All personal details will be held on secure computer architecture.

 

Storage and sharing of personal data:

PMJImagery uses secure servers operated by Wix hosting. Further information can be obtained by visiting ‘https://support.wix.com’. You will not receive unsolicited emails or advertising from this website. Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

 

Changes to this Privacy Policy:

PMJImagery reserves the right to change this privacy policy as deemed necessary from time to time or as may be required by law. Any changes will be immediately posted on the website and you are deemed to have accepted the terms of the privacy policy on your first use of the website following the amendments.
